Guests are responsible for leaving their cottages in a reasonably clean and orderly condition at departure. Guests are expected to wash their own dishes and dispose of trash outside in the garbage bins. Dirty towels should be left in the bath tub. All dishes, pots and pans etc. must be left in the cottage just as they were upon arrival. At the sole discretion of management, Del Mar Cottages reserves the right to charge additional cleaning fees if this requirement is not met. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of the cottages. Please let us know if the cottage is not up to par.

As the old saying goes, one should always leave a place as nice as you found it. It's just common sense if you want to be a good guest. Most of our guests are super great but there has been some guests who needed to be reminded.

We know you are on vacation and probably don't want to spend your entire time cleaning. Housekeeping services are available during your stay at a minimum charge of $75.00 depending on specific requests. No housekeeping service is included in your rental cost other than the basic cleaning of the cottage upon your departure. The gas barbecues need to be cleaned after each use and the propane tanks turned off. You may trade towels at the office in the morning and we will be more than happy to accommodate you. Please remember that we are a "Green Facility" but try to recycle as much as possible. If you would like to support our efforts in this regards we would appreciate you re-using your towels. Of course it is up to you.

All damages will be charged for replacement costs incurred  including items removed from the property.
